Until recently, Senna was a normal urbanite, a healthy young woman with a bright future living alone in NYC. In spite of her mother's disappearance and a certain unwantedness in her step-family, she retains an infallible and sometimes unwarranted amount of faith in humanity that has been taken advantage of on numerous occasions.
